Thanks, that gradual approach sounds much less stressful.

Hi. That concern is very real. In my experience, switching ndt equipment works best when learning is gradual and connected to real inspections. We once introduced a new device and instead of full replacement, we used it alongside older tools for a while. Reading documentation and browsing structured catalogues like https://teqto.pro/catalogue/ndt-equipment helped us understand the logic behind different systems before using them on site. Once the team saw consistent results in real conditions, trust came naturally. No amount of theory replaces hands-on work, but preparation definitely shortens the adaptation period.

Learning curve when switching to new NDT equipment

Hello forum. One thing that worries me about upgrading ndt equipment is the learning curve. In theory new tools are faster and more accurate, but in practice people still need time to get comfortable using them. I've seen cases where good equipment just sat on a shelf because no one really trusted it yet. How do you usually handle this transition? Do you rely on training, manuals, or just field experience over time?
